How do I adopt an animal from EBARR?
Choose the animal you would like to provide a forever home for by checking the available cats and dogs pages on our website or visit one of our weekend adoption sites. You will need to complete an application and agreement, available for download on our website or you may fill one out at our adoption sites. Once the application is reviewed we will approve or deny. The approval or denial is done at the time of adoption or beforehand if submitted via email or fax.

How do I see an animal in person?
Come to one of our weekend adoption sites or set up an appointment by calling our message line or emailing us. This information is located on the contact page of our website. Please keep in mind that not all animals are at our adoption sites and if interested in a particular animal, you should call or email ahead of time to verify the animal will be there.

Does EBARR have a shelter I can visit?
No, all of our animals are placed in foster families. We don't believe that it's in the best interest of our animals to be kept in cages, except when shown at adoption sites. We believe that the animals make better family members, are more adoptable and much better socialized when integrated with a family prior to adoption. It also gives our rescue the ability to intelligently speak to temperament, behavior and other important information that is valuable when making an adoption decision.

How do I return an animal that I adopted from EBARR?
Simply call or email us, please visit the contact page of our website for our information. EBARR makes every effort to accept the return of adopted animals; however, many factors have to be considered before our organization can make a decision. Please be patient, EBARR is a 100% volunteer based organization and we don't always have immediate access to email or voice mails. Generally someone will contact you within 2 days, but in the meantime, you have a responsibility to keep the animal safe and cared for until we can take possession, this is included in the agreement you signed at the time of adoption.

Does EBARR offer any advice or consultation concerning my animal that I recently adopted?
Yes, simply call or email us and one of our representatives will get back to you as soon as possible. Our contact information is located on our website under contact us.
